As the General Manager and Founder of Sevarin Marine Contracting, Hossam Refaat brings over 20 years of distinguished experience to the offshore oil and gas sector. His leadership is the driving force behind Sevarin’s commitment to precision, safety, and technical excellence. Hossam’s extensive expertise spans field operations, vessel management, and port services, with a specialized focus on commercial diving activities and complex subsea engineering.

Throughout his career in the Gulf region, Mr. Refaat has led multidisciplinary marine teams, managed complex subsea operations, and delivered mission-critical offshore projects with a focus on precision, safety, and operational efficiency. He is certified by the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA — UK) in subsea engineering and professional diving — a credential that reflects his commitment to global standards of safety, competency, and technical excellence.

Today, he guides SEVARIN with a leadership approach rooted in discipline, operational clarity, and engineering depth — ensuring the company consistently delivers reliable and high-quality marine contracting solutions.
